Nationalism and the Creation of Italy

Nationalism is the way you love your country. You can wear your countries flag colors or wear a symbol of it. Nationalism is the belief that one's greatest loyalty should not be a king or an empire but to a nation of people who share a common culture and history. Nationalism mostly means the love for a country.

Simon Bolivar and Latin American Revolutions

Simon bolivar was a liberator. He was born on july 24 1783 and his parents was wealthy creole people. Simon was highly educated and his parents supported him. He was one of South America's greatest generals. His victories over the Spaniards won independence for Bolivia, Panama, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Venezuela. He is called
El Liberator. He wanted to fight for the independence of spain. He was inspired by the enlightenment thinkers and the American and French Revolution.

John Locke and "The Enlightenment"

John Locke was was the most famous enlightenment thinkers. Our constitution had some of the ideas of the enlightenment thinkers. Back then everyone was ruled by a king or queen. Sometimes they had mad good decisions and sometimes bad. Sometimes the king/queen was smart sometimes they relatives or children had alittle goffy problems and stuff going throught they head. Over time things changed thanks to the enlightenment thinkers. We overthrew the monarchy and now we have a government with a domcracy.
The are 3 main branches in the democracy.
1. executive
2. judicial
3. legeslative
